Water rarely, about once every 1-2 weeks with 1-2 glasses of water , keeping the soil dry for a few days before watering again; when wetting we suggest avoiding surpluses, however to wet the soil deep down. These plants don't need too much water; staying in a soil which is too damp, can easily cause the development of rotten in the bulbs.
Exposure Nerine
The Nerine should be grown in a bright place, with direct sunlight. The Nerine can't stand temperatures below zero; they should be grown in cold green houses or at least in a place where they are sheltered by the wind; when every risk of late freezings has gone by we can place them outside or remove the protections. If necessary we can extract the bulbs from the ground, during the vegetative rest; after letting them dry we should place them in a cool, dry and dark place. During the most indicated season we can plant them again.
Generalities Nerine
These plants have trunks or roots which store nourishment, originating bulbs or tubers. These plants give origin to a brush with a rounded form. The Nerine is medium in size and 50 cm in height; in the autumn it assumes a pink colouring. These plants aren't evergreens, which means they lose their leaves some months during the year.

Treatments Nerine
Generally during this time of year we suggest a pre-emptive treatment with wide range insecticide and with a systemic fungicide, to prevent the attack from part of the aphids and the development of fungus diseases, often favoured by a mild and damp climate.
Soil Nerine
Locate in a deep and dissolved soil, with an accentuated drainage.
