We suggest avoiding exposing orchids to direct sunlight, although they should be placed in a very bright location.This plant favours very bright places, during this time of year it is suggested to avoid direct solar rays.

The Cochlioda develops like a perennial herb. This plant in the summer assumes a yellowpink colouring; it is small in size and can reach 70 cm high. It keeps its leaves in the winter. Growing they develop a round-shape shrub.
Feed Cochlioda
Orchids are plants which request periodic fertilization, using specific products for orchids, which usually aren’t too rich: it is recommendable to avoid leaving fertilizing solutions on the roots. Usually orchids should be fertilized every 20-25 days, interrupting fertilization during flowering.
Irrigation Cochlioda
These plants favour quite regular watering, usually 1-2 glasses of water ; we advise in any case to irrigate every 1-2 weeks , when the soil is dry. To moisten the soil of the orchids homogenously we can water them by immersion, soaking the vases up to the edge in demineralized water, and leaving it until the top part of the substratum is moist; let's drain the excess water and then put the containers back in place.

If we notice the presence of cochineals or of other insects we can practice a treatment based on mineral oil or other insecticide, being careful to vaporize only the foliage.
