This plant favours very bright places, during this time of year it is suggested to avoid direct solar rays. We suggest avoiding exposing orchids to direct sunlight, although they should be placed in a very bright location.The Calochilus can't tolerate freezings, therefore it is best to grow it in a cold green house or in an apartment; during late Spring we can place them outside, when all risks of freezings are unprobable.

These plants favour quite regular watering, usually 1-2 glasses of water ; we advise in any case to irrigate every 1-2 weeks , when the soil is dry. To moisten the soil of the orchids homogenously we can water them by immersion, soaking the vases up to the edge in demineralized water, and leaving it until the top part of the substratum is moist; let's drain the excess water and then put the containers back in place.
