I like the article
The Cadetia develops like a shrub. The ramifications of these plants tend to develop downwards. This plant in the winter assumes a yellowwhite colouring; it is medium in size and can reach 60 cm high. It keeps its leaves in the winter.
Temperatures Cadetia
This plant favours very bright places, during this time of year it is suggested to avoid direct solar rays. The Cadetia is grown at home or in a warmed green house; during the Spring it can be moved outside, but only if the mimimum temperatures are clearly mild.We suggest avoiding exposing orchids to direct sunlight, although they should be placed in a very bright location.
Irrigation Cadetia
These plants favour quite regular watering, usually 1-2 glasses of water ; we advise in any case to irrigate every 1-2 weeks , when the soil is dry. To moisten the soil of the orchids homogenously we can water them by immersion, soaking the vases up to the edge in demineralized water, and leaving it until the top part of the substratum is moist; let's drain the excess water and then put the containers back in place.
Adversity Cadetia
If we notice the presence of cochineals or of other insects we can practice a treatment based on mineral oil or other insecticide, being careful to vaporize only the foliage.
Substrate Cadetia
Locate in a soil for orchids, not too drained.
