During the spring let’s regularly use a fertilizer rich with nitrogen and potassium to favour the development of the new vegetation; fertilization is done by adding fertilizer to the irrigating water, every 15-20 days.
Water Papyrus
Watering must be abundant and very regular, trying to keep the soil slightly humid; we suggest to avoid surpluses. Let's water it every 0-1 weeks with 3-4 glasses of water . It is advisable to water the plants avoiding to leave water in the saucer, because stagnant water often develops fungal diseases.
Light Papyrus
We suggest locating the vases in a pretty bright place, although avoiding direct sunlight, which could damage the foliage. The Papyrus should be preferably located in a place where it can have at least a few hours a day of direct solar light.The Papyrus can't stand cold weather, therefore in general it should be grown in a sheltered place; during the Spring months, when the minimum temperatures are above zero, it can be moved outside.

Pests Papyrus
As the day-time temperatures rise at the beginning of the spring, it is agreeable to practice a preventive treatment, with a wide-range insecticide, which should be applied when there aren’t flowerings in the garden. Before the buds become too large, it is advisable to also treat them with a wide-range fungicide, to prevent the development of fungal diseases which spread easily when there is an elevated environmental moisture.
Mold Papyrus
To guarantee these plants with a good quantity of humidity let’s add some broken up bark or foliage to the substratum. We suggest to repot every 2-3 years.
